Cardiovascular/ heart disease is the number one cause of death in the united states. Many factors lead to the development of heart disease. Some of the reasons for contracting may be due to genetic, environmental, or inequitable issues. Inequities are instances of injustice or fairness. Some inequities that lead to heart disease are where people live, income, and race. If people worked to stop these inequities then the amount of heart disease present in the world would drop dramatically. Access to quality food dramatically affects whether a person may get heart disease or not. Various reasons may be subject to why people have trouble accessing quality foods.
